A wedding at Ayios Georgios
Tapers down eight long tables, and a pair of pillars either side of the church door.
See the dayLow light under the trees, in glass that could take the wind coming off the hill.
A long table under the olives, laid for twenty two, with the hill behind it doing what a hill does once the sun is off it. Everything went into glass for that reason.
We came up in the afternoon, worked out where the wind was coming from, and set the light low: enough to see the person across the table by, and not enough to see anything past them. The last of them were still burning when the table was cleared.
